Scottish “Mumpreneur” Cheryl MacDonald Reaches Finals of National Business Awards.

Glaswegian mum, and entrepreneur, Cheryl Kennedy MacDonald, has earned herself a place in the final line-up of The Mumpreneur Awards, an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life. The PeaceLoveYoga Guru and mother of 1 from Glasgow, is the owner of YogaBellies Ltd, BRA and PeaceLoveYoga Retreats.

Cheryl has been shortlisted for the Reach category, which is open businesses that trade on an International basis. Having launched YogaBellies five years ago, she set gone from strength to strength with hundreds of teachers and franchisees across the world. Cheryl hopes she has what it takes to walk away with the prize.

As well as being shortlisted for this category, Cheryl is also in with a chance of winning the title of The Inspirational Business Mum 2015, which will be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business, and could walk away with a fantastic prize.

Having reached the finals of The Mumpreneur Awards, Cheryl said “I am delighted to have been recognised for my achievements in supporting women across the globe through yoga and holistic health, and I’m really excited to find out if I’ve won the award!”

Judging Cheryl ’s entry will be a panel of top entrepreneurs but she’ll have to wait until 14th November, when the winners will be announced at The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards, being held at the Heart of England Centre in Warwickshire. This event is open to all parents who juggle family and business, and also for those interested in taking the plunge and starting up.
