Hello! I’m Polly, I live in Worcester, and I am mummy to two beautiful and cheeky little girls. I have been practising yoga for over 9 years, and I love the time it gives me to balance and centre myself, as running after my little ones can be very hectic!
|Why I became a YogaBellies Teacher...||
After having my second child, I knew that carrying on with my job as a Support Worker for Womens Aid was going to be difficult, as my working hours were not really compatible with raising two small children. While up for a 3.00am feed and searching the internet for options, I came across YogaBellies and knew straight away that I had found my perfect solution. After speaking with Cheryl I couldn’t wait to get started! I have found a career that fits in with my family’s needs, whilst also allowing me to pursue my passions for yoga and supporting women.

“Started yoga with my LG, Ophelia, when she was 12 weeks old with no previous yoga experience, I wanted to get back into gentle exercise, meet other mums and get out the house. I absolutely love it, and Ophelia is so chilled afterwards. Polly is a true gem, she takes everything in her stride and makes me feel so comfortable if Ophelia needs a feed/change or meltdown!
“I cannot recommend Polly’s mum and baby yoga classes enough. Even from the first email with what to expect I was put at ease. As a new mum there is a bit of anxiety about going to classes about whether my little one will kick off, or whether it will be a pain stopping during the class to feed/change/mop up sick! Polly’s classes are so chilled and she brings such a lovely calm vibe. My little one loves the classes too and I love that Polly reads us a story at the end. It is also really nice that we get to have a cuppa and a chat afterwards and Polly makes such an effort to chat to everyone and make sure we’re all OK. She also makes a cracking flapjack! For me the nicest part of the class is how much we get to interact with our babies but we still feel like we’re having a work out. Definitely one of my favourite parts of the week.”
“I wanted to just spread the word on how brilliant these sessions are! In truth I wanted to write this last week, but I was so relaxed after class I fell asleep!! The class truly is such a fantastic,relaxing, gentle atmosphere lead by the lovely, fantastic Polly, whose warmth exudes her as she welcomes you in each week.it covers gentle exercises, breathing techniques, general well-being and relaxation sessions. It is such a fantastic bonding experience with bump, and it is so rare but so lovely to have this time to just connect with baby inside! I truly cannot recommend these classes enough to anyone, particularly mums to be, and Polly herself is such a genuine lady, and you really get the feeling your in safe hands from the moment you start. Classes are tailored to suit individuals needs, and nothing is too much trouble. Each time I walk out I feel about 2 stone lighter, unheard of amongst pregnant women! Thank you Polly, you really are making such a difference, and I look forward to carrying on in your mum and baby classes!”
