I am a part time primary school teacher, mother of three and wife to one! I’m originally from London but now live in a quieter, greener area of West Suffolk.
|Why I became a YogaBellies Teacher...||
Pregnancy and childbirth have always been an interest of mine (I trained originally as a midwife many moons ago). I love teaching and feel at ease in that area. I’ve practised yoga for around 10 years and definitely think its the best form of exercise out there for everyone. I was lucky enough to have three healthy straight forward pregnancies and natural births. I do believe the fitter and stronger you are during pregnancy, the more it will aid your in labour. Yogabellies ticks all the boxes of things that I am interested and believe in, and I love teaching these classes and meeting all these amazing women and their babies.
I’ve been fortunate to have ladies come through the Yogabellies pregnancy class, then bring their little ones to mum and baby – some returning later on on their own for the Coreplay sessions. It is a joy and a privilege to be part of their yoga journey (plus I get lots of baby cuddles too)!

|What people have said about my YogaBellies classes...||
We loved the 3 blocks we did of mum & baby yoga. The class had a great balance of things for myself and also for my son. Karen was a fab teacher and very accommodating. We met some lovely mums and babies through doing the class. Would highly recommend!! (Fran & Nate)
I’m currently on my second block of classes and really enjoying them.
This is my second pregnancy and not as active in my job as I was with my first so wanted to do something that would help with my fitness. I’ve been suffering with my back and find that after every class it doesn’t hurt and also now continue the stretches at home throughout the week.
The groups are very informative and a great way to also meet other expectant mums. Would highly recommended! (Gina)
We’ve just finished our first block of mummy and baby yoga. We’ve loved it!! Karen is brilliant and it been great to do a class that focuses on me as well as the little one! Its also been a great opportunity to make new mummy friends! We’ll definitely be back for round 2 in September!! Xx (Louise)
Thanks to Karen for introducing me to yoga. I loved the classes with my son and he enjoyed it too. Once he was wriggling everywhere I’ve had the opportunity to try the evening class without him and I’ve absolutely loved it. Great for novice and the seasoned yoga members. Can’t wait to see you in September as now I’m hooked! (Lorna)
