About Me

I live in Hamilton with my husband and our two daughters, Jenna and Leia. I love spending time with my family, enjoy fitness and wellbeing, and seeing friends. I was blown away to win YogaBellies Teacher of the Year in 2015 :) my prize was a once in a lifetime trip to Bali on Cheryls PeaceLoveYoga retreat which was completely amazing!

Why I became a YogaBellies Teacher...

After having my second child excercise, including yoga, and meditation became a big part of my life. I started to wonder if it would be possible to incorporate my new interests into a business going forward. Then I saw YogaBellies on Dragons Den….which was everything I was looking for! I am so excited to be part of the YogaBellies family and enjoy bringing these wonderful classes to Lanarkshire.

What people have said about my YogaBellies classes...

The classes had more to offer than I expected.
The yoga was great and I enjoyed learned the postures and techniques. I am also surprised how much Alison was able to get us thinking and prepared for the birth. Listening to other girls thoughts and ideas was at times a little overwhelming (making me feel a little disorganised) but actually it has really help me prepare for birth and give me loads of coping strategies. It has also given me confidence to trust my body throughout labour.
Alison set a really supportive, open environment in her classroom. It was lovely how much she promoted ‘women supporting women’. This made it easy to talk about any worries or concerns.
Lastly, I have met a lovely group of girls that I hope to keep in touch with.
Thanks so much Alison. I will definitely be recommending you and your classes.” Pamela, Jun 2016

“I found this class has really helped to prepare me both mentally and physically for the weeks ahead and the different stages of labour. It did not take me long to feel comfortable around the others in the the group which enabled me to benefit from sharing pregnancy experiences in a relaxed and informal setting. I thought that Alison was a great instructor and along with creating a relaxed and comfortable environment, she delivered a great class every week which I thoroughly enjoyed, so much so, that coming to yoga bellies has been the most enjoyable parts of my pregnancy and one that I am missing already. I am hoping to return towards the later few weeks prior to my due date.” Joanna, June 2016

“I found (the pregnancy) class great at winding down and giving me a precious hour for me and baby. Alison was warm and made environment comfortable. Positions were stretching which I loved and I like how we moved forward each week. Will definitely be back for YogaBellies with baby” S Mair, Mar 2014

“I enjoyed meeting other girls in same boat as myself, having a little ivf baby I thought I may be the only one but I wasnt. Also all the tips and things were excellent. overall I think this (pregnancy) course is well worth the money, its nice gentle excersise without doing any harm to you or baby” B Smith, Mar 2014

“I highly recommend YogaBellies for any stage of pregnancy. Its relaxing and enjoyable as well as building strength and knowledge to take forward into the rest of your pregnancy and labour. I also highly recommend Alison as a teacher she is very knowledgeable, friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the very first class”
A Burns, May 2014

“I really enjoy going to YogaBellies and it’s the right balance of breathing techniques, exercise, advice and relaxation.
It is the best thing during pregnancy and I always have the best sleep after being at class. Alison Frame is a lovely, positive teacher. Every pregnant lady should go to YogaBellies” M Wood, May 2014

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my 6 week block (of YogaBellies for Mum & Baby) so much so that I have signed up for another block. I had never been to yoga before and was a bit apprehensive. However Alison’s friendly and relaxed manner put me at ease. She creates a peaceful environment for both mum and baby. I would definitely recommend the classes to anyone who has recently had a baby” G Gordon, May 2014
