This is so much more than ‘just’ pregnancy yoga. I want you to feel prepared for birth and motherhood, as well as get a chance to exercise safely and recharge your batteries by taking time to relax and bond with baby. In class we cover a mix of specially adapted yoga postures suitable throughout pregnancy, discussion, breathing techniques and positions for labour, and always end with a beautiful guided relaxation. Classes are suitable from 12 weeks to birth and beginners are very welcome.

Yoga is the perfect way to ease yourself back into exercise post-natally. In this class, we support your baby’s brain development, encourage motor and social skills, and teach you ways to ease digestive discomfort through gentle baby yoga moves, communication and nursery rhymes. For you, I will teach you how to use your breath to connect to and strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles; you’ll stretch and strengthen through safe yoga postures, easing out the aches and pains from growing, birthing and now nurturing your baby. You will also meet other like-minded mums and hopefully get a few minutes of relaxation. Suitable from 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery or 10 weeks after a c-section, and beginners are always welcome.

What people have said about my YogaBellies classes...

❤️ PREGNANCY YOGA REVIEWS
Great pregnancy yoga classes which incorporate a range of breathing techniques and exercises which have certainly eased the aches and pains of pregnancy! Louise encourages open and honest conversation in her classes which I have really enjoyed. Would highly recommend to any expectant mums!

I would highly recommend Louise’s yoga classes. I attended her pregnancy class and it was by far the best thing I did whilst being pregnant. Not only is the yoga great for both mental and physical wellbeing, Louise made the classes so enjoyable. Her classes had the perfect mix of yoga practice along with discussion and information, not to mention the classes are a great way to meet and chat to other pregnant ladies. Louise is one of the kindest people I’ve met, when I was faced with a breech baby she went above and beyond to do independent research to pass on to me which was invaluable. She is so much more than a yoga teacher. She is caring and supportive – You want this girl in your life during pregnancy!

I really am so grateful for everything you have taught us in the pregnancy class. I honestly put my positive birth experience down to the advice, techniques and confidence that came from the chats we had in class. I was so nervous about the birth and you were brilliant at pointing us in the direction of information or just chatting through some of our concerns! It was also great to meet the other ladies and find out that I wasn’t alone in some of the things that worried me. I enjoyed the yoga but the social/support element of the group and the breathing and relaxation parts of the class were my favourite. I didn’t often feel my baby move when I was pregnant but she always gave me a wee kick when we did the relaxation at the end of class and it made my day!
*
Could not recommend Louise’s YogaBellies class enough! It has been one of the highlights of my pregnancy and it’s so much more than Yoga. I have met some lovely ladies and Louise has made us all feel so welcome and helped us share our pregnancy experiences. You don’t need any previous yoga experience as the class is suitable for all. It is gentle, relaxing, fun and energising. I can’t wait to continue into Louise’s mum and baby yoga class once my little bundle arrives. Thanks Louise for supporting us with this class!
*
I joined Louise’s pregnancy yoga class towards the end of my pregnancy as I was struggling to find any exercise suitable with Pelvic Girdle Pain and I’m so glad I did. It was the highlight of my week – such a supportive group of women and Louise was amazing – she modified any positions for me to ensure I could fully participate. It helped keep me sane and mobile through my final weeks of pregnancy. I now go to her Mummy & Baby class which are very relaxed and, again, supportive. Louise is knowledgeable, experienced and clearly cares about everyone in her classes. I highly recommend her to all Mums/Mums-to-be. If anyone has any queries or questions, just get in touch with her and she’ll happily chat about it.

❤️ COREPLAY / LUNA WOMEN’S YOGA REVIEWS
I wanted to say how much I enjoy your classes. Tuesday always seem to be the busiest and most stressful day of my week getting organised for work and nursery but I always feel so relaxed after class it’s the perfect ‘me’ time 🙂

As a mum of two, Louise’s CorePlay class on a Tuesday night is my saviour. It’s a calming and supportive class with a nice bunch of people. When I arrive the stresses of the week fall away and I leave feeling lighter, happier and generally more positive. Louise offers different levels of postures through the class so you can push yourself and get a good workout if you want to, but there’s absolutely no pressure. She explains everything very well. I love the class and having completed two blocks (about to start my third) I really feel the benefits of it.
*
Firstly let me tell you how much I have loved your classes. They have been so joyful and a fabulous de-stresser. I have never had a yoga class experience like yours. You create a wonderful full rounded experience. From the candles down to the lavender eye masks. Every small detail considered. Thank you again. I would never of before considered myself a yogi but you have converted me!!
*
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the class, I like your approach the whole session is gentle, feminine, slow, yet strong and powerful. I feel so energised and calm when I come out of the class. I wish i could do it 3 times a week

❤️ MUM & BABY YOGA REVIEWS
I’ve loved going to Louise’s classes since my son was just a few weeks old (he’s now 7 months). Louise is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She creates such a lovely mummy-led space. She’s happy to hold babies if she has spare arms so you can enjoy some calm. The classes are great for easing yourself back into your body post baby. I’d def recommend going to her class and am going to miss seeing her smiley face each week. It’s been something I’ve looked forward to each week.
*
The loveliest, cosiest, most welcoming yoga class ever. Louise is a wonderful yoga teacher and if not for the location of where I live, I would continue going to her mum and baby classes, and would sign up for all the other classes she offer!! I always left feeling relaxed and empowered at the same time.
*
I started the mum and baby classes when my baby was 8 weeks old. The environment is so relaxed and welcoming, very responsive to the needs of the babies!
*
I’ve attend both Louise’s pregnancy & mum & baby yoga & loved her friendly & informative nature. Her classes are focused on what matters & really great way to relax then recover. I’ve also met a lovely bunch of mums! Thank you so much for being a great teacher & making the classes so fun, relaxing & a safe space when you are in the kind of vulnerable stage of motherhood.
