Hey…. I’m Tara, the lucky mum of 3 amazing little people Seth, Eli & Gracie.
Life with a 5, a 3 year old and a newborn can be pretty hectic but I love getting out an about with them, watching them interact with new people and seeing their amazing little personalities develop.
Outside of my mummy duties I love snowboarding, tattoos and catch-up’s with friends. I am a fun loving person who loves to laugh and I really enjoy meeting new people.
I love all things YogaBellies and all my children are YogaBellies Babies. I attended YogaBellies for Pregnancy and Mum & Baby Yoga with the boys and loved how both classes gave me time out to relax, bond with baby and focus on the exciting journey ahead.
I was fortunate to have great pregnancies but after the birth of my 1st son I had pubic symphasis dysfunction and unfortunately ended up in a wheelchair for a few months. After the birth of my 2nd little boy I suffered with a large separation in my tummy muscles. Yoga was one of the only safe and effective exercises that I was able to do and my personal practice continues to develop and help me recover. I truly believe in the recuperative power of yoga so it felt like a natural progression for me to join the YogaBellies team and I am so excited about offering classes in the Belfast Area.
Danielle mummy to Shay 3 and Niamh 1 is the newest member of the team. She brings fun and warmth to all her classes and will go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and supported in the classes that she teaches.
|Why I became a YogaBellies Teacher...
I attended YogaBellies for Pregnancy & YogaBellies for Mum and Baby yoga all of of my children and was overwhelmed by how they helped me through birth and also with my recovery postnatally.
I have a huge interest in embodied anatomy and continue to study with a number of international teachers deepening my knowledge allowing me to share with the ladies I teach. I love all things birth and baby and specialise in pre and postnatal yoga. Through my own experiences as a yoga teacher and a mum I cant wait to offer other women the opportunity to spend quality time on the mat and to create happy and special memories together.

|What people have said about my YogaBellies classes...
5 star-Tara has been visiting Mother Hubberts Day Nursery & Afterschool Club every Friday for the past 6 weeks. During these 6 weeks Tara has been teaching our tots, toddlers, pre school and afterschool club yoga with a different theme and journey every week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tara for this fabulous experience in which all of the children and staff loved. The children are very sad to see this end and always get very excited when they see Tara. we all cannot wait until our next experience. thanks again xx
Rhona Robb Malherbe – 5 star Tara came to my daughters 5th birthday party and entertained 22 little girls with a Frozen themed YogaBellies Kidz party. I had so many comments from the mums to say how much their daughter enjoyed the party. It was different from the usual birthday parties my daughter goes to which I loved! I would recommend a YogaBellies Kidz party and Tara was fantastic!
YogaBellies CorePlay –
Julie Corbett – 5 star Had a fabulous 1st class tonight with Tara, so relaxing and enjoyed my night, looking forward to the next class already. Thank you
Shelley Heasley – 5 star Tara’s lunar yoga class is fantastic. After a crazy day with 1 year old twins it’s bliss to switch off and enjoy the relaxation (and of course exercise )

I initially signed up for Yogabellies Pregnancy classes having had no previous yoga experience. After my first session with Tara I felt completely revitalised. You can take the class at your own pace pushing yourself to what you find comfortable and Tara offers variations on the poses to cater for those of us with specific ‘pregnancy niggles’. There is much more to the class than just the physical aspect, there is a real sense of comradery with your fellow classmates and it’s lovely to learn from and share with the other girls, each on their own baby growing journey. It is the breathing techniques practiced here that gave me the focus I needed during labour…my little one is just new but I almost want to get pregnant again just so I can go back to Tara’s Pregnancy Yoga class!

Cannot recommend Tara’s pregnancy yoga enough – I already do in fact! I joined when I was 14 weeks pregnant and I am now almost 36 weeks! I really feel like I wouldn’t be able to move as well as I can still. Any pain I get I just know that yoga will help and I have picked up so many useful tips from Tara and the other mums in the class. From pregnancy pains to other symptoms, hospital bags, how to sleep better, things to do to relax and any other topics. I love being able to chat to other pregnant mums in class and that there is no judgement no matter what options or choices you have. I have 4 weeks to go and signed up for another 8 classes so I can do 2 a week, I will miss the class so much but I really look forward to mum and baby yoga in the coming months. Thank you Tara
Mum & Baby-
Candice McCallum – 5 star
I attended mum and baby yoga with my little girl while she was 3 months until 8 months old and loved it. Tara is lovely and the class is very relaxed, fun and friendly. Really enjoyed having time at the end of class for a cup of tea and chat with other mums too. Thank you Tara!
Kathryn Sloan – 5 star
Absolutely loved aquabellies and yogabellies! Went from 12 to 41 weeks! Definitely kept me active, flexible and pain free throughout pregnancy. Also really enjoyed meeting other mummies to be and Tara made sure everyone felt relaxed and tailored exercises to the individual. Cannot wait til I can join mummy and baby yoga in a few weeks as I miss class so much!
