At YogaBellies® our chosen national charity is Tommy's. We are working closely with them to develop a relationship so we can help raise money to support their campaign.

About Tommy’s

Tommy’s wants to give every baby the best chance of being born healthy. Right now one in four women in the UK loses a baby during pregnancy or birth.
We fund medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage and provide information to parents-to-be on having a healthy pregnancy.
We are supported by people who want to do something about the lack of research and information around pregnancy issues.

By 2030 we want to halve the number of babies who die during pregnancy or birth

In the past we have taken part in various fund raising events to help Yorkhill Children's Foundation and continue to do so. Some of our events are detailed below:

YogaBellies® Yoga Classes for Yorkhill Jan 2009

a 6 week block of classes taught by Cheryl to the employees of SLC on Bothwell Street, with all proceeds going to Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

Fire Walking 2010

Cheryl completed a sponsored fire walk (yes across hot coals in bare feet!) in order to raise money for Yorkhill Children's Foundation and raised just under 500 pounds :)

YogaBellies® Christmas Party December 2010

The YogaBellies® Christmas Party for all mummies, babies and bumps held at the YogaBellies® studio. All food and drink provided by Cheryl and donations went to Yorkhill Children's Foundation. There was also a raffle running with lots of excellent prizes supplied by local businesses such as haircuts, massages and yoga lessons.
